Presuppositions of the NLP

1. There is no substitute for clean and open sensorial channels.
2. The meaning of the communication is the answer we obtain.
3. The resistance of the client is an indicator of the inflexibility of the communicator.
4. Each person has all the necessary resources to make the changes he desires.
5. The map is not the territory.
6. A person’s positive effort is always constant, while the value and adjusting of the inner and/or outer conduct could be dubious.
7. The person with a greater variety of alternatives is the one who has the control.
8. There are not failures in the communication, only in the results.
9. Every individual has 2 levels of communication: conscious and unconscious.
10. The intention of each conduct is always positive.
11. All the distinctions that we, as human beings, are able to realise - related with our inner and outer world and our conduct - can be represented in a correct way through the visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, smell and taste systems (Robert Dilts, PNL vol. 1).
12. Rapport in the meeting of an individual with his model of the world.
